Fall is my favorite season because it includes all my favorite things food, wine and great conversation with family and setting the table for family and guests to gather around is something I love to do. I set this table a few weeks back and it’s one of my favorites. It’s nothing fancy I find if I keep it simple I’m a much better host. A less formal vibe keeps everything very casual and more relaxed.
I started with a some pumpkins I picked up at a local pumpkin patch, I added a few faux pumpkins that I had laying around to add some texture and soft blues.
Votive candleholders in a tablescape add ambiance and keep everything nice and low so as not to interfere with conversations. I like to use tea lights in my votives instead of votive candles the light is bright and I just feel like its a bit safer.
For this tablescape I added some foliage instead of fresh flowers I wanted the full Fall feeling and the leaves gave me just that. Gold flatware and soft grey blue plates from Pier 1 finish the place setting off. I always step back to evaluate what needs to be added or possibly removed.
This table is giving me all the Fall feels with lots of textures and subtle colors! I hope this inspires some ideas for your own table. How do you set the table for your Thanksgiving? I’d love to hear in the comments below!
